3 Lake Hike
Senses Trail
For families we can really recomment the 3 Lake Hike - Laid out as a senses trail. The high-altitude plateau of the Turracher is home to three beautiful alpine lakes nestled in Europe's largest contiguous Swiss Stone Pine forest.
Together the three lakes, the Turracher Lake, the Schwarzsee (Black Lake) and the Grünsee. (Green Lake) form the setting for a 7.5-kilometre hike through magnificent and peaceful Alpine countryside. This is a gentle hike along mainly wide paths.
The Upland Moor-
a place to wander
Enjoy a hike in a magnificently unspoiled setting, of the Upland Moor. Its natural beauty and the great views make it one of the most popular spots of the Turracher Höhe. Time stands still as you take time to wander and contemplate.
Tip: "s´Hüttenplatzerl" lies just below the Upland Moor, making it the ideal place to pop into at the end of your walk.
