"s´Hüttenplatzerl" is a lovingly run family restaurant located 1,836 metres above sea level in the popular Turracher Höhe skiing and hiking region. Its attractive interior and fantastic location imbedded in magnificent ladnscapes with stunning views is what makes "s'Hüttenplatzerl" outstanding. The "3 Lakes Hike", the Upland Moor Trail and numerous other walking routes lead you directly to our mountain hut restaurant. From our sunny terrace guests can enjoy the breath-taking mountain pasture scenery and views of the surrounding peaks. In winter the Zirbenwaldbahn lift will bring you directly to "s´ Hüttenplatzerl". We, Michelle, Andreas, Angelika and Gerhard, look forward to greeting you here at "s'Hüttenplatzerl" mountain hut restaurant.
Because we love what we do
We run "s´Hüttenplatzerl" with a great deal of personal commitment and genuine warmth, and this is what our guests truly appreciate.
Michelle serves in the restaurant and organises the reservations. Andreas prepares the delicious meals, creates his own recipes and makes sure that the dishes are always perfect when they leave the kitchen, Angelika (Muttl) also serves the meals and spends spring and summer outdoors collecting healthy natural herbs, berries and much, much more. She then transforms these into delicious teas, different kinds of schnapps and jams. Gerhard (Datl) is the good soul of the restaurant and helps out whenever and where ever assistance is needed; serving in the restaurant, supporting Andreas in the kitchen, chopping wood or doing repairs.

Our cosy and beautifully furnished mountain hut restaurant offers seating for 45 guests inside and 60 outside.
Our aim is to make our "Hüttenplatzerl" a cosy meeting point for families, friends and groups for both locals and holidaymakers alike.
That we take care of how our food is prepared and that we use regional products goes without saying.
